You are an Administrator
- In the "Publications" tab of the menu, click on "Add a publication".
- Fill the "Internal name" field : the internal name is only used in BRIDGE back-office, it allows you to easily identify your publications.
- Choose the type of publication that you want to create:
- News: a title, a text and an image will be displayed
- Event: a title, a text, an image and the event dates will be displayed
- Banner: an image will be displayed- not compatible with Hot Content on publishers
- Covid Info (Hot content only available for GMB) : only a text will be displayed. This type is available only if you have a GMB account (cf. Google posts dedicated to Covid-19)
N.B : The publication types are defined when your store locator is initialized. You may not have all these types.
- Fill in the different elements of your publication:
- Title: news or event title visible on line
- Content: if you want to display text explaining the news or event
- External link: to add a link to another page
- Attachment: if you want to give web users access to a file (e.g. a pdf) - not compatible with Hot Content on publishers
- Event dates: event dates displayed on line
- Click on "Next step"
- Choose the zones where your publication is to be displayed on the different pages:
If you have a Store locator :
- Home page: your store locator home page
- Results page: the page that displays the locations resulting from a search
- Local page: the location pages
If you have the publications module activated :
- Publishers : compatible publishers with publications broadcast
For the Info Covid publication, no zone can be selected as the post will be only published on Google My Business.
- Load the images that will illustrate your publication. During this step, you can crop your images.
N.B: According to the configuration of your store locator, you will have to supply one or several images. - Click on "Next step"
- Assign the locations for this publication (only if you have chosen a publication zone on the local pages).
You can choose to broadcast your publication on all the locations or on a selection of locations. - Choose the dates your publication is to be broadcast
- Choose your publication’s status
- Active (default): your publication will go out immediately during the broadcasting dates
- Inactive: your publication will be saved as a draft
- Complete the creation of your publication by clicking on "Create this publication".
You are a Location Manager
